-seeings and entanglements at the pond
(in the sea)
(in the laundry mat)
the moss let itself fall so slowly to the ground, and the horses neck brushed against the barbedwire fence
i like to lie heads and tails with you
looking down on us, water boiling steam rising to the ceiling
holding salt in one hand, pepper in the other (a flake of rosemary caught in my tooth)
seeing it all through 100 chandelier necklaces
thought i saw an eagle, could have been a vulture. can't tell anymore

ReplyDeletethank you for leaving me that comment...it really made me smile.
I wonder all of the time why, all of the sudden one day my undying love for the ocean surfaced. Just bubbled up to the surface of my being like it was in me the whole time, waiting for me to move to Chicago. Maybe a love for the desert will bubble up in you...or a love for conifers, or the grand canyon.
PS< i've been loving your drawings. you are very talented.
